What is nervous system regulation?

The purpose of NSR is to increase your quality of life by improving physical health and emotional capacity.

Many people live with a dysregulated nervous system because of relational trauma or chronic stress. When a system or organ in the body is dysregulated, it isn't working properly or functioning the way it should.

Nervous system dysregulation is the underlying cause of so much pain. It is often overlooked within the medical community because there is not a pill or supplement that will fix it, so symptoms get treated without addressing the underlying cause.

Nervous system dysregulation stems from the nervous system being in a constant state of fight or flight mode. Nervous system regulation is the ability to help your body and mind return to a state of calm and safety after a stressful event, activating the rest and repair mode.

Ultimately, nervous system regulation is about retraining your body and mind to move out of chronic stress and back into a state of rest and repair so you can experience better physical health and greater emotional capacity.
